Set Appropriate Pricing Strategies
Just like in real estate, choosing the correct pricing strategy for your RV is critical for two reasons:
1) to acquire top dollar for your RV, and
2) to sell it fast!
NADA values are used as a guide. We find most customers are armed with NADA values when negotiating final sales price. Therefore, we must make sure you (the seller) understand you may need to be able to take the low retail amount as a final sales settlement. We may start our pricing as high as the high retail amount but the final deal will typically end up somewhere between the two numbers, depending on overall condition of the RV.
Flat Rate Sellers' Prices
Most dealerships charge sellers a 10%, 15% or even a 20% commission on the sales price. Our approach is much simpler and tends to work out better for the you. Basically we agree on a flat net price to you, then if we sell it for more we get to keep the difference. Sellers like it because they know exactly what they are getting - easy math! This approach motivates us to work hard to earn our income, which keeps us moving units quickly.
