Set Appropriate Pricing Strategies
Just like in real estate, choosing the correct pricing strategy for your RV is critical for two reasons:
1) to acquire top dollar for your RV, and
2) to sell it fast!
Kelly Blue Book and NADA values are used as a guide, but we also understand the affect other market forces have on RV pricing. Your RV may actually be worth more, or much less, than the "book" value. Our desire to achieve a satisfying buying and selling experience for all parties has driven us to develop a "composite pricing strategy" taking into consideration "book" value along with other critical market criteria, such as recent comparable RV sales (referred to as "comps" in real estate), bank financing requirements and other key elements.
Flat Rate Sellers' Prices
Most dealerships charge sellers a 10%, 15% or even a 20% commission on the sales price. Our approach is much simpler and, on the average, works out better for the seller. We work with you to come up with a pricing strategy that makes sense and we agree on a flat net price to you, then if we sell it for more we get to keep the difference. Sellers like it because they know what they are getting, without any fuzzy math. This approach motivates us to work hard to earn our income, which keeps us moving units quickly.

EXTENDED WARRANTY
Since many buyers have concerns about buying a used RV a good Extended Warranty Agreement provides our buyers with comfort and "peace of mind" in their buying decision. We offer the Star RV Extended Warranty program for a term of 1 to 4 years on RVs up to 10 years of age. This is just one more reason buyers prefer doing business with ADV-Austin.
